Description

From the Spanish ‘cáscara’ meaning ‘husk’, dried skins of coffee cherries have long been enjoyed as a floral, fruity tea resembling flavours of hibiscus, cherry, red fruits & rose hip.

After brewing, leftover skins can be added to smoothies, bakes or compost. Low in caffeine. No sugar added.

Brewing suggestion:

Forget what mom said, play with your food…

* 8g cascara, whole / course grind
* 200ml water, just off the boil
* Steep for minimum of 5min in a strainer or plunger
* Enjoy as is, hot or cold, or add honey & spices to taste

* NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH CASCARA SAGRADA WHICH WILL MAKE YOU POOP FOR DAYS 🙂 *
