You’ll find answers to the most commonly asked questions below. If you can’t find the answer to your question below, please drop us an email and we’ll respond to you asap!
How do I create an account?
Click on the “My Account” option at the top right hand side of the page. You will be taken to a page that will ask you to “register” with an email address and password. Please note that the system only allows complicated passwords for securety reasons. The “Register” button, will only be activated once the password has passed the security criteria. Once registered, you’ll be taken to a page that will ask you to “Manage your shipping and billing addresses”.
How fresh is your coffee?
It’s as fresh as you’re going to get it other than collecting it from the roastery itself. We roast coffee multiple times per week ensuring that the coffee you receive is almost still warm :).
Do you deliver ground coffee?
Yes we do. While grinding your coffee fresh per cup is always going to be better, we understand that not everybody has the luxury of having their own grinder. you can pick your preferred grind size / brewing method from the drop down menu on the product page.
What shipping options do you offer?
For now we are using Aramex to do our out-of-town deliveries. It’s a little pricey, but this way we can track it and make sure that it’s delivered directly to your door.
If you live in Cape Town, you are more than welcome to collect your order from our roastery in Woodstock to save yourself shipping costs!
As we find better / more cost effective shipping options, we’ll be sure to add them to the site for your convenience.
Please note that we do not ship to P.O. Boxes.
How long will it take to get my order?
For major centres in South Africa, work on roughly 3-5 business days.
How much does delivery cost?
For now we have door-to-door through Aramex couriers for R99, or in-store collection for FREE.
Where do you deliver?
We deliver anywhere in South Africa. For international orders, please contact us directly. Please note that we do not ship to P.O. Boxes.
Do you except returns?
As coffee beans are a perishable product, we cannot accept returns because coffees are not to your taste or if you simply changed your mind. In the unlikely event of a quality issue, please contact us with details and we we’ll take it from there. We may require a sample and/or photos first to confirm the nature of the issue.
Are you VAT registered?
Yes we are! Our registered business name is Fairly Grown Coffee (Pty) Ltd and our VAT Number is 4940234950. If you’re buying on behalf of a company and require a tax invoice – no problem. Just let us know and we’ll send you a PDF version.
How do I pay for my order?
We have multiple ways that you can pay for your order all of which are secure.
PayFast – Credit Card, Cheque Card, Debit Card, Instant EFT or Bitcoin
We also partner with PayFast, one of South Africa’s leading secure payment processors to offer a number of additional payment methods, including credit/cheque cards (Mastercard or Visa), debit cards and even Bitcoin payments.
When you choosing the Payfast option, you’ll be redirected to PayFast’s secure website and then you can select which of these specific payment methods you want to use.
